PUBLIC PATH NOTICE THE LAKE DISTRICT NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY FOOTPATH 545023 NORTH OF TROUTBECK CHURCH, TROUTBECK PARISH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS GIVEN that under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Lake District National Park Authority has made an order dated 26 July 2017. The effect of the order is to prohibit all public traffic for all purposes from proceeding over Footpath 545023 North of Troutbeck Church, Troutbeck Parish, between grid references NY 4118 0328 and NY 4124 0287, because of danger to the public due to subsidence and collapse of the path surface.

The notice and plan showing the route concerned may be inspected during normal office or opening hours at the National Park Authority Offices, Murley Moss, Oxenholme Road, Kendal, LA9 7RL; at South Lakeland District Council, South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal, LA9 4DQ; and at Ambleside Tourist Information Centre, Central Buildings, Market Cross, Ambleside, Cumbria, LA22 9BS; and is also available online at http://www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/visiting/thingstodo/rowupdates/rowclosures

The order will take effect on 1 August 2017 and will continue in force for up to six months. Signs will be erected showing the closed path and the alternative route.
