POOLE HARBOUR BRIDGES OPERATING BOARD APPOINTMENTS
Poole Harbour Commissioners (PHC) are a Trust Port responsible for the care of Poole Harbour with a general duty to conserve, regulate and improve the Port and Harbour. In accordance with ttie provisions of Schedule 6 of the Borough of Poole (Poole Harbour Opening Bridges) Order, 2 seats are scheduled for appointment to the Bridges Operating Board for a period of 3 years commencing In October 2017.
Accordingly, PHC are looking for candidates with marine, commercial or recreational experience, or other interest as a user of Poole Harbour, to represent harbour users.
The Borough of Poole is required to consult the BOB on all matters affecting the management and operation of the opening bridges.
