ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
GLENWOOD AVENUE BAILDON TEMPORARYPROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 722) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable sewer repair works proposed to be executed on or near Glenwood Avenue, Baildon intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Glenwood Avenue from its junction with Higher Coach Road to apoint outside No 2Glenwood Avenue. PROVIDED THATsuch prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Glenwood Avenue (unaffected section), GorseAvenue, Higher Coach Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 31st July 2017 and remain in force until 5th September 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 20th day of July 2017
