ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
SWALLOW STREET KEIGHLEY TEMPORARYPROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 717) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works maintenance to be executed on or near Swallow Street, Keighley has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Swallow Street from its junction with Parson Street to its junction with Quail Street. PROVIDED THATsuch prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Parson Street, Victoria Park Street, Quail Street and vice versa. The Order comes into operation on 24th July 2017 and remains in force until 2nd September 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
