ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Closure of Public Right of Way PRW 58 Mill Hill, Mortlake

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a sewer repair, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary footpath closure of a section of PRW 58, Mortlake.

2.
Whilst the works take place, no person shall enter PRW 58 from the western kerb-line of Mill Hill westwards for a distance of 22 metres (outside Trocks Mill Cottage).

3.
The order will come into effect on 31 July 2017. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 31 July 2017 until 11 August 2017 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for anyone affected by the closure will be available via Mill Hill.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure The Hermitage, Richmond

1.
The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a gas connection they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in The Hermitage, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in The Hermitage from a point outside the common boundary of Nos 2 and 3 The Hermitage to a point outside the common boundary of Nos 10 and 11 The Hermitage.

3. The order will come into effect on 17 July 2017. The restrictions will be in Force at all times from 17 July 2017 until 20 July 2017 and whilst signs/ cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. A signed diversion will be available for vehicles via adjacent streets.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Richmond Hill, Richmond

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water main repair works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order to introduce temporary restrictions in Richmond Hill, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Richmond Hill from a point outside Nos 1-12 Glenmorgan House Richmond Hill to a point outside the south-eastern junction of Richmond Hill Court.

3. The order will come into effect on 17 July 2017. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 17 July 2017 until 21 July 2017 and whilst signs/ cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Richmond Hill, Ellerker Gardens, Onslow Road, Onslow Avenue, Mount Ararat Road, The Vineyard and Church Road; and via Petersham Road, Star and Garter Hill and Richmond Hill.

5. Nothing in this Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Hanworth Road, Hampton

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Hanworth Road, Hampton.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Hanworth Road, Hampton between its junction with Uxbridge Road and a point outside No 3a Hanworth Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 24 July 2017. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 24 July 2017 until 3 September 2017 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for traffic affected by the closure shall be available via Uxbridge Road and Hanworth Road.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (No. 5) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2017 HAM COMMON, HAM

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 13 July 2017 made the above Orders under sections 9 and 10 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The general effect of the order is to introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") in Ham Common, between its junctions with Upper Ham Road and Lock Road.

3. Copies of the Order which comes into force on 21 July 2017, a plan showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order-la) can be inspected, quoting Reference 17/118, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and (b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices.

In pursuance of section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Assistant Director, Traffic and Engineering of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, as the specified officer, or some person authorised in that behalf by that officer may, if it appears to that officer or to that person essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic, or of the provision of suitable and adequate parking facilities on the highway, or for preserving or improving the amenities of the areas through which the roads affected by the Order runs, modify or suspend the Order or any provision thereof.

5. If the provisions of these Order continues in operation for a period of not less than six months, the Council will consider in due course whether the provisions should be reproduced and continued in force indefinitely by means of an Order under section 6 of the said Act of 1984. Persons wishing to object to or support the making of such an Order for the purpose of such reproduction and continuation in force may, within the period of six months referred to above (i.e. by 26 January 2018) send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds of that objection to the address below.

7. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall enter PRW 26, Thorne Passage from a point outside No 29 Charles Street to a point outside the rear of No 17 Charles Street.

3. The order will come into effect on 24 July 2017. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 24 July 2017 until 4 September 2017 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for anyone affected by the closure will be available via White Hart Lane and Charles Street.

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecom utility works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Lincoln Avenue and Meadway, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the Order is in force no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the following lengths of street-la) Lincoln Avenue, from its junction with Meadway, for a distance of 50 metres;
(b) Meadway, from a point 50 metres north-west of its junction with Lincoln Avenue to a point 50 metres south-east of its junction with Lincoln Avenue.

The order will come into effect on 17 July 2017. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 17 July 2017 until 30 July 2017 and whilst signs/ cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Suspension of Cycle Lane -Rugby Road, Twickenham

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate highway works and ensure the safe movement of traffic, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary suspension of a length of cycle lane in Rugby Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any pedal cycle to proceed in the cycle lane on Rugby Road, Twickenham on its west and south-west outside the East Stand of the Rugby Football Union Stadium, Twickenham.

3. The order will come into effect on 15 July 2017. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 15 July 2017 until 8 December 2017. The provisions of the order will be in force at all times. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
