1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by sections 6, 23, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, propose to make the above mentioned Orders and introduce a zebra crossing in Durnsford Road, Wimbledon Park.
2. The zebra crossing would be located outside No. 391 Durnsford Road and the "controlled area" in which stopping , waiting and loading is prohibited at all times would apply on both the approach and exit sides of the crossing. The maximum extents of the zig-zag marking would be 16.50 metres either side from the middle of the pedestrian crossing.
3. The general effect of the Orders would be to remove certain parking places to facilitate the introduction of the pedestrian crossing described above and introduce a 3 metre section of "no waiting at any time" double yellow lines restriction outside No. 416 Durnsford Road.
4. A copy of each of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the lengths of road to which the Orders relate can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.
5. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk quoting reference DURNSFORD ROAD ZEBRA, no later than 4 August 2017. LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON AMENDMENT TO CW2- RELOCATION OF PARKING
PLACE IN GARFIELD ROAD THE MERTON (PARKING PLACES) (H2) (NO. 1, 2012)
(AMENDMENT NO. 437) ORDER 2017 THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2017
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 10 July 2017, under the powers conferred by sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made the above mentioned Orders.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
(a) relocate the permit holders only parking place outside No. 90 Garfield Road so that it lies in Garfield Road, the east side, from a point 1 metre south of the common boundary of Nos. 86b and 90 Garfield Road southward for a distance of 10 metres; and
(b) replace the relocated parking place with a single yellow line waiting restriction operating between 8.30am and 6.30pm Mondays to Fridays to facilitate the relocation of a vehicle crossover servicing No. 90 Garfield Road.
3. A copy of each of the proposed Orders, which will come into force on 14 July 2017, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including a plan specifying the lengths of road affected by the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON INTRODUCTION OF RESIDENTS/VISITORS PERMIT ONLY PARKING IN CW2 ZONE THE MERTON (PARKING PLACES) (CW2) ORDER 2017
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 12 July 2017, made the above-mentioned Order under the powers conferred by sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to revoke the Merton (Parking Places) (CW2) Order 2016 and re-introduce its provisions with amendments so that the parking places in CW2 controlled parking zone will be restricted to residents and visitors permit parking only. The usual exemptions will apply to motor cycles and vehicles displaying a "blue badge".
3. A copy the Order, which will come into force on 17 July 2017, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan specifying the lengths of road affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
COOMBE LANE, SW20 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate water main repairs and associated works in Coombe Lane, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. Whilst the works take place no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Coombe Lane, between the south-eastern kerb-line of Copse Hill and a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 221 and 223 Coombe Lane; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of Coombe Lane specified in paragraph 2(a) above.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
5. Vehicular access to properties adjacent to the restricted length of road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7. Vehicular traffic affected by the one-way working should proceed by way of Copse Hill, Cottenham Park Road and Durham Road.
8. The Order would come into operation on Monday 7 August 2017 and it is anticipated that the works would be completed within 1 week. However, the Order would remain in force for 1 month and its provisions would be re-introduced should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
QUICKS ROAD, SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate a new gas connection and associated works in Quicks Road they intend to make an Order, the effects of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in Quicks Road, from the western kerb-line of Victory Road eastward for a distance of 36 metres;
(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of Quicks Road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Quicks Road specified in paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works in the said road.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Whilst the road closure referred to above remains in force, the alternative route for diverted traffic would be via Haydons Road, South Park Road and Wycliffe Road.
6. Nothing in the Order would apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a policed community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes at the time of any emergency; or
(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to, the length of Quicks Road specified in paragraph 2(a) above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order would come into operation on Monday 31st July 2017 and remain in force until Friday 4th August 2017 inclusive or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (VARIOUS ROADS) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC)(NO. 8) ORDER 2017
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate a programme of carriageway resurfacing to be undertaken in Holborn Way, London Road and St Mark's Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the afore-mentioned roads.
2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter, proceed in, or wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading, in any of the roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Notice;
(b) turn right into St Mark's Road from Holborn Way or London Road.
3. During the stage one works in St. Mark's Road, the one-way working in St Mark's Road at its junction with Armfield Crescent will be suspended (the 7 feet width restriction will remain in place).
4. During the stage two works in Holborn Way and London Road, access from these roads into St. Mark's Road will be maintained.
5. Any designated parking place situated in any of the roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Notice will be suspended for the duration of the works in those roads or lengths of roads.
6. Alternative routes for diverted traffic will be indicated by advance warning and diversion signs on the roads affected when the works are in progress but will likely be those diversion routes specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this Notice.
7. The restrictions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
8. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
9. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
10. Nothing in sub-paragraphs 2(a) and (b) above will apply to any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or length of roads insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
11. The Order will come into operation on Monday 24th July 2017 and the anticipated works dates and times are specified in column 3 of the Schedule to this Notice. The night of Thursday 27th July to Friday 28th July 2017 is held as a contingency date for any works not previously completed as planned. However, the Order will remain in operation for a maximum period of 6 months and its provisions will be re-introduced during that time should further works be required.

London Road, between its junction with Upper Green West and its junction with St Marks Road London Road, the southbound east side, between the southern kerb-line of St Marks Road and the common boundary of Nos. 187 and 189 London Road, Mitcham St Mark's Road, from its junction with London Road eastward for a distance of 42 metres Via London Road, Lock's Lane, (or Lansdell Road if accessing or exiting St Mark's Road), Eastfields Road, Grove Road, Tamworth Lane, Manor Road, Commonside East, Commonside West, Upper Green East, London Road, Raleigh Gardens and Western Road
Stage 1 over 1 night between 9pm on Monday 24 July 2017 and 4am the next day.
