NOTICE THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL (B278) RECTORY LANE, WOODMANSTERNE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2017 ON 4TH JULY 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of (B278) Rectory Lane, Woodmansterne that extends from its junction with the access road leading to "Midday Sun Public House" for a distance of 80 metres in a north-westerly direction. Vehicular traffic will be diverted via Manor Way, Chipstead Way and Outwood Lane or this route in reverse order.

This Temporary Traffic Order is required to enable BT to carry out telecommunications maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out within one day between the hours of 08.00hrs and 16.00hrs during the three month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order that commenced on 8th July 2017. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for pedestrians at all times. Access will be maintained to premises on the affected length of Rectory Lane, including access by emergency services to these properties.
