WROUGHTON SPEED LIMIT TRAFFICORDERS

WROUGHTON – SPEED LIMIT TRAFFIC ORDERS NOTICE IS GIVEN that on the 12 July 2017 under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Council made the following orders:

SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, SWINDON) (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2014 AMENDMENT ORDER (NO 1) 2017 Introduction of 40 mph speed limit as follow:
A4361 from south west of the road leading to Elcombe in a north westerly direction to the Wroughton 30mph Speed Limit sign including the entire lengths of the 2 access lanes off the A4361 which lead to the unclassified C3060.

SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, WROUGHTON) (50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2017 Introduction of a 50mph speed limit as follow:
Mill Lane (C3059) from its junction with Wharf Road for a distance of 340 metres in a north direction, A4361 from the borough boundary to the access lane leading to the unclassified C3060.

SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (A4361 AND UN-NAMED ACCESS ROAD, WROUGHTON) (30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2017 Introduction of a 30mph speed limit as follow: A4361 from junction with the access lane leading to the C3062 in an easterly direction to Church Hill. The access lane off A4361 which leads to the C3062 for its entire length, The access lane off the A4361 which leads to the access lane leading to the C3062 for its entire length.

The Order will be operative as of 17 July 2017 and copies of the Orders may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours. If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made there under has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, you may, within 6 weeks from 12 July 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
