OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(HARWELL AND VARIOUS PARISHES) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to makethe above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.The effect of the order is:
(a) to introduce a 20mph speed limit on existing roads and on newdevelopment roads in Harwell as follows:
- Grove Road from Drewitts Corner to a point 410 metres west,
- also on Barrow Lane, Barrow Road, Manor Green,Talbot Close and The Croft, in place of the existing 30mph speed limit on these roads (and in the case of Grove Road, also a short length of existing national speed limit).
- It will also include all the new roads under construction accessed via a new junction on the north side of Grove Road approximately 75 metres west of  Manor Green. (b) to introduce a 40mph speed limit on the remainder of Grove Road westwards to its junction with the A4130, in place of the existing national speed limit. The existing Harwell Speed Limit order will be revoked/ replaced.

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) by no later than 18 August 2017. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
