Notice of  Temporary Traffic Order Oxford, St Clements Street Area - Temporary Traffic Prohibitions Date of Order: 17July2017 Coming into force: 24 July 2017 (continuation of the Emergency Notice)

St. Clement'sStreet
Lane closure of the inbound lane from the junction of  Rectory Rd towards The Plain R/BT. Suggested diversion: Rectory Rd - Cowley Rd - The Plain Parking of all kinds within the closure are awill be suspended.
Rectory Road junction onto Cowley Road
The prescribed route directing traffic left at the junction will be suspended to allow diverted traffic to turn in either direction onto Cowley Road. (The central reservation will be removed to allow this)
RectoryRoad
Parking of all kinds on the east side of the road will be suspended to aid diverted traffic
Dawson Street
Parking of all kinds on the east side of the road will be suspended forthe purpose of the works (works material storage)
Jeune Street junction onto St. Clement'sSt
Suspension of the No Right Turn restriction and implication of a No Left Turn restriction (traffic must turn onto St. Clement's Street or straight over onto Boulter Street).
Marston Street
No though route (no exiting) onto Cowley Road. (Toaid traffic exiting from Rectory Road onto Cowley Road on both directions).
Reason: To facilitate essential sewer works on behalf of  Thames Water
Duration: Starting on the 24 July 2017, the anticipated completion date is the ISeptember 2017.
This Order is acontinuation of the Emergency Notice that came into force on the 10 July 2017; and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
Access &Transport: Limited access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for frontages within the closed section of road, subject to the progress of the works. Bus-stop inbound on St Clements St located outside the Oxford model centre(within the closure area) will be suspended.
The relevant parts of the Oxfordshire County Council (East Oxford) (Controlled Parking Zone Waiting Restrictions and Traffic Management) Order 2010 (as Amended) will be suspended when appropriate traffic signs are shown. (Parking Places & Prescribed Routes).
