(FORTON AVENUE, BOLTON) TEMPORARY CLOSURE THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTIONS 14(1) AND 16(1) THE BOLTON (FORTON AVENUE, BOLTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.110) ORDER 2017

The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, the effect of which, being operative from 8th August 2017, will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from entering, stopping, standing, waiting, loading, unloading or otherwise remaining at rest in Forton Avenue, from its junction with Bury Road for a distance of 100 metres in a southerly direction. Alternative route will be via Bury Road, Long Lane, Breightmet Drive, and return. The Order is necessary due to gas mains replacement works which will last for approximately 2 weeks and will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
