THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) (PUBLIC FOOTPATH 35a, ST ANDREWS, RADCLIFFE) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State has approved that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury may continue in force until 25 January 2018 the above Order which was made on 26 January 2017 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which is as follows :-

To prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along:-

Public Footpath 35a, St Andrews, Radcliffe - between Leander Close and Stanley Road The reason for the proposed order is in the interests of public safety given significant level differences to adjacent land and construction traffic movements. The alternative route will be via Leander Close, Salisbury Road, Ainsworth Road and Stanley Road and vice versa.
