TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (North West) (No. 46) Order 2017" authorising the stopping up of the whole of Bolton Road car park, an irregular shaped northern part width of the unnamed highway adjoining Westhoughton Library and an unnamed connecting footpath at Bolton, in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton to enable development as permitted by Bolton Council, under reference 95552/15.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/2205) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Westhoughton Library, Library Street, Bolton BL5 3AT.
Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 20 July 2017 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
