ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)(a) AND (c) THE M5 MOTORWAYJJUNCTION 4TO JUNCTION 9) (SLIP ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an order on the M5 Motorway,inthe Counties of Worcestershireand Gloucestershire, to enable vegetation cutting and litter picking works to be carried out.

The effect of the Order will be to close, at different times :-

(1) any slip road leading to or from the northbound and southbound carriageways of the M5 at Junctions 4,5,6,7 and 8;

(2) the slip road leading from the southbound carriageway of the M5 at Junction 9; and

(3) the slip road leading to the northbound carriageway of the M5 at Junction 9.

The work will be carried out overnight between 22:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Tuesday l August 2017 and continue for two weeks. The Order will come into force on 28 July 2017. Vehicles being used for police, fire brigade, ambulance or traffic offcer purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures. Diversion route via alternative junctions of the M5 will be signed.
