OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (KENNINGTONAND SOUTH HINKSEY) (SPEED LIMITS )ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. This is a revised consultation following input from various parties with interest in the first proposals. The revised order will update and replace the existing Oxfordshire County Council (Kennington and South Hinksey) (Speed Limits) Order 2014, the effects being as follows:

a) The section of the A423 dual-carriageway (southern ring road) from the A34/Hinksey Hill roundabout will be reduced to 50mph through to Heyford Hill roundabout,
b) Kennington Road - the northern, end currently unrestricted will be reduced to 40mph from the existing village 30 limit to Old Abingdon Road,
c) The northern slip road from Hinksey hill on and off the A423 for Kennington (currently unrestricted) will be reduced to 40mph meeting up with existing 30pmh limits,
d) The southern slip road from off the A423 to/from Kennington (currently unrestricted) will be reduced to 50mph meeting up with existing 30pmh limit.

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) by no later than 11 August 2017. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
