PUBLIC CONSULTATION EVENT
Proposed Wellhill Farm Surface Mine Extension, New Cumnock, East Ayrshire Kier Minerals is holding a consultation event to display the draft plans and related information of the proposed Extension to Wellhill Farm Surface Mine, which is situated approximately 2.8km to the west of New Cumnock. The exhibition will be held on:
Wednesday, 26th July 2017 2.30pm – 7.30pm
In the: New Cumnock Town Hall
Members of the Kier Minerals project team will be available to talk through the proposed scheme and receive your comments. Persons wishing to comment on the proposals can do so by writing to Chris Copley at Greenburn Surface Mine, Auchincross Farm, New Cumnock KA18 4QR. All correspondence must be received by 18th August 2017 to be considered within the application.
This notice does not relate to a Planning Application. Comments should not be made to East Ayrshire Council. Please note that any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the Planning authority. If a Planning Application is subsequently submitted to East Ayrshire Council, normal neighbour notification will be undertaken at that time by the Council and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
