(WOOLEY TERRACE, STANLEY CROOK) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2017
The Council proposes in not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all traffic a 330m length of Wooley Terrace between its junctions with Jobson Terrace and C18a adjacent Stanley Crook Primary School by reason of gas main works to be undertaken. The maximum duration of the temporary closure under the Order is 18 months and is required from 24/07/17 and for the duration of the works anticipated to be 6 weeks. However, on rare occasions, alternative dates for the closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. An alternative route will be available to traffic from the north eastern side of the closure fromStanley Crook Primary School southwards along C18a to B6299 Railway Terrace then north westerly to Mount Pleasant / Wooley Terrace to the leading to the south western side of the closure, and vice versa.
