TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATHS BUSHEY 6, 7&14 7 & 14 NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has extended, with consent of the Secretary of State, the Order which was made under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. To prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpaths Bushey 6, 7&14, from Hilfield Lane to M1 and Hilfield Lane to the Mobile Home Park, for an approximate distance of 165,60 and 100 metres.
Alternative route: No appropriate alternative route
The purpose of the Order is to enable development works to take place.
The section of Footpaths will continue to be closed for up to 6months until 30th January 2018 or completion of the works whichever is sooner.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN BUSHEY, BUSHEY HEATH, WATFORD, CROXLEY GREEN, MOOR PARK, RICKMANSWORTH, CHORLEYWOOD, ABBOTS LANGLEY, KINGS LANGLEY, HERONSGATE AND LOUDWATER) ORDER 2017 NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at anytime on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Otterspool Lane, Bushey from its junction with BeriyGrove Lane north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards for adistance of approximately 295 metres. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of A4008 Stephenson Way, Bushey from its junction with the Colonial Way roundabout north eastwards and eastwards to its junction with the A41 North Western Avenue/A1(M) (junction 5) roundabout, a distance of approximately 1292 metres. An alternative route will be via A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 Beechen Grove, A412 St Albans Road and A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way/ Otterspool Way.
3. that length of A4008 Stephenson Way Link Road, Bushey from its northernmost junction with the southbound carriageway of A4008 Stephenson Waysouth westwards for adistance of approximately 459 metres. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4. that length of A409 Heathbourne Road, Bushey Heath from its junction with the A411 Elstree Road roundabout south westwards for adistance of approximately 950 metres. An alternative route will be via A411 Elstree Road, A4140 (High Road/The Common) and A409 Heathbourne Road.
5. that length of Wilcot Avenue, Watford from its junction with Bucks Avenue north eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
6. that length of Talbot Avenue, Watford from its westernmost junction with Wilcot Avenue south eastwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its easternmost junction with Wilcot Avenue, adistance of approximately 265 metres.
An alternative route will be via Wilcot Avenue.
7. that length of Little Green Lane, Croxley Green from its junction with Lincoln Drive south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Rousebarn Lane, adistance of approximately 648 metres. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
8. that length of A4145 Moor Lane, Moor Park from its junction with the A404 London Road roundabout north eastwards for adistance of approximately 214 metres. An alternative route will be via A404 (London Road/Church Street/Riverside Drive), A412 (RectoryRoad/Park Road/Scots Hill/Watford Road/Rickmansworth Road), A4178 (Cassio Road/ Merlon Road/The Hornets/Fearnley Street) and A4145 (Vicarage Road/Hagden Lane/Tolpits
Lane/Moor Lane).
9. that length of Woodcock Hill, Rickmansworth from its junction with Harefield Road south eastwards to its junction with Shrubs Road, adistance of approximately 831 metres. An alternative route will be via Harefield Road, A404 London Road, White Hill, Northwood Road and Shrubs Road.
10. that length of Burtons Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Chalfont Lane south westwards for adistance of approximately 148 metres. An alternative route will be via Chalfont Lane, Shire Lane, Heronsgate Road, Long Lane, A412 (Denham Way/North Orbital Road/Danham Avenue), A40 Oxford Road, A413 (Amersham Road/ Gravel Hill/Amersham Road/London Road), B4442 (Vache Lane/ Nightingales Lane), Roughwood Lane and Burtons Lane.
11. thatlength of East Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with High Street south eastwards and southwards for a distance of approximately 592 metres. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
12.that length of Rucklers Lane, Kings Langley from its junction with Bulstrode Lane north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards for adistance of approximately 2564 metres. An alternative route will be via Bulstrode Lane, TowerHill, Chapel Road, Langley Road, Chipperfield Road, Vicarage Lane, A4251 Hempstead Road and Rucklers Lane.
13.that length of Long Lane, Heronsgate from its junction with Heronsgate Road south eastwards to apoint 41 metres north west of its junction with the A412 Denham Way/M25 (junction17) roundabout, adistance of approximately 1300 metres. An alternative route will be via Heronsgate Road, Shire Lane, Chalfont Lane, Burtons Lane, A404 (Chalfont Station Road/Amersham Road/Rickmansworth Road/ Chorleywood Road), A412 (RectoryRoad/Uxbridge Road/Denham Way) and Long Lane.
14. that length of Sarratt Lane, Loudwater from its junction with Solesbridge Lane south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Loudwater Lane, a distance of approximately 1450 metres. An alternative route will be via Solesbridge Lane, Sarratt Road and Loudwater Lane. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1August 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
