(Hythe Station Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hythe Station Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Hawkins Road to its junction with Greenstead Road, a distance of approximately 160 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th July 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153033086 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Installation of island and signage works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Greenstead Road, Greenstead Roundabout, Elmstead Road, Clingoe Roundabout, Eastern Approach, Hawkins Road Roundabout, Colne Causeway, Haven Road Roundabout, Hythe Quay, Hythe Quay Roundabout, New Hythe Bridge, Hythe Station Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 13th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Station Road, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Duke Court for a distance of approximately 27m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th July 2017 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM53635884 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while collapsed sewer pipe works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Lower Park Road, Spring Chase, Church Road, Ladysmith Avenue, Victoria Place and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 6th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 06/07/2017
