DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL HUNDENS LANE & HAUGHTON ROAD, DARLINGTON
(ROAD CLOSURE), ORDER 2017
Darlington Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:
HUNDENS LANE
At its junction with Haughton Road
An alternative route will be signed via Haughton Road, Freemans Place, St Cuthbert's Way, Yarm Road and vice versa and via Yarm Road, McMullen Road, B6279 and vice versa. The Order is necessary to allow sewer repairs and new connections. It is anticipated that this closure will be effective for 3 weeks.
HAUGHTON ROAD
From the east side of its junction with Barton Street to the west side of its junction with McMullen Road
Access to BlackettRoad only
An alternative route will be signed via McMullen Road, B6279 and vice versa.
The order is necessaryto allowroad surfacing work. It is anticipated
that this closure will be effective for 2 weeks.
The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is
18 months commencing from 31 st July 2017.
