Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Didcot, Sutton Courtenay Road Prohibition of through traffic and speed reductions. Date of Order: 30 May 2017 Coming into force: 17 July 2017 The original start date of 5 June 2017 was postponed. This Order is being introduced because of water mains connection works which are anticipated to take 4 weeks to complete.The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle using that part of Sutton Courtenay Road, Didcot from the roundabout junction with Brooks Drive, southwards to the roundabout junction with Park Drive. There will also be step-down speed reductions on Milton Road northwards towards Park Drive roundabout - restricted to 40 mph 400 metres from junction, and to 30 mph at 200 metres from the junction. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route for traffic is via Parks Road, Eastern Avenue, Brooks Drive and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
