Darlington Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:
B6275 THE GREEN, PIERCEBRIDGE
From the junction outside no. 1 southwards then eastwards for 600metres.
An alternative route will be signed via B6275, Barton, Stapleton, Bridge Road, A67 Carmel Road South, A67 west to Piercebridge and vice versa.
The order is necessary to allow road surfacing work.
The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is
18 months commencing from 24th July 2017. It is anticipated thatthe closure
will be effective for 2 weeks.
