Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1001 River Teme to A4113, Leintwardine, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1001 River Teme to A4113 from the juction of the A4113 by Corner Cottage to the River Teme OS Grid Ref: 338467 / 273344. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4113 onto the C1001 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the safe access to install new service connections and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 17th July 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 11 days.
