THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN (VARIOUS STREETS, BLACKBURN AND EDGWORTH) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING/UNLOADING AND DRIVING, AND REVOCATION) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council made the above Order the effect of which will be to regulate the waiting of vehicles as described in Schedules 1and 4, to regulate the loading of vehicles as described in Schedules 2and 3, to introduce a prohibition of driving except for access restriction as described in Schedule 5 and to revoke the existing Orders described in the Schedule 6. The usual exemptions will apply.
The Order has been modified slightly to include the restriction at Thwaites Close in Schedule 1, which was not included as part of the proposal,but has been consulted upon.
Any queries concerning the proposals should be made by telephoning Capita Highways on 01254-273515. The Order will come into force on 17th July2017.
Copies of the Order and relevant plans may be examined at the Information Desks,TownHall, Blackburn and Town Hall, Darwen Monday to Friday inclusive between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. (excluding Bank Holidays).
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or any provision therein,on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the said Act (as amended), or on the grounds that any requirement of that Actor of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 13th July 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
