NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council has made the Wigan Borough (Kirkhall Lane) (Temporary One Way Working) Order 2017.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Kirkhall Lane, Leigh at the junction with Atherleigh Way in a southerly direction (town centre bound) on Tuesday 18 July 2017 from 1900 to 2200.

The alternative route for traffic is:- Atherleigh Way -Wigan Road - Smallbrook Lane - Westleigh Lane The Order is necessary to allow repair works on manhole frame and cover

Newlands Drive - Temporary Closure Notice of Making
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council has made the Wigan Boroug h (Newlands Drive)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 " The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Newlands Drive, Leigh outside property number 45 during the period of Monday 21 st August 2017 for one day. The alternative route for traffic is:- Chelford Avenue - Longton Avenue - Upwood Road - Milton Road - Church Lane - Stone Cross Lane North. The Order is necessary to allow repair works on manhole frame and cover
