TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2017

THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL (B280) WEST STREET, EPSOM TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSE TO MAKE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of (B280) West Street, Epsom as extends from its junction with (C195) Station Approach to a point in line with the eastern property boundary of property No. 7 West Street. Vehicular traffic will be diverted via High Street, Upper High Street, Alexandra Road, College Road, Reigate Road, Ewell By-Pass, Kingston Road, Ruxley Lane and Chessington Road. This Order is required to enable Centurion Traffic Management to carry out telecommunication mast replacement works. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 nights, between 21.00hrs and 05.00hrs, within the three month period of operation of this Order that commences on 1st August 2017. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists at all times. Access for emergency vehicles, residents and businesses will be maintained via the signed diversion route.
TOWNPATH 6070 (FOOTPATH 110) COLLEGE ROAD TO ALBERT ROAD, EPSOM TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSE TO MAKE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic, including pedestrians from entering or proceeding in that length of Townpath 6070 (Footpath 110) that extends from the southwestern property boundary of No.25 College Road to the south-western property boundary of No.17 College Road. This Order is required to enable Southern Gas Networks to lay a new gas mains connection. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 08:00 to 16:00, within one week of the sixmonth period of operation of this Order that commences on 7th July 2017. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. No access to any property will be affected. Access for pedestrians, cyclists, equestrians and emergency services will be maintained at all times via means of the signed diversion route which will be College Road and Albert Road.
