PUBLIC NOTICE PROPOSED SPEED HUMPS AND SPEED TABLES

HARINGEY COUNCIL - PUBLIC NOTICE PROPOSED SPEED HUMPS AND SPEED TABLES - BARRATT AVENUE N22 T45

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to introduce speed humps and speed tables into Barratt Avenue N22 under Sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999.

2. The proposed sinusoidal speed humps and speed tables would be introduced at the following locations in Barratt Avenue N22:-

(a) speed humps:-

i. alongside the flank wall of No. 1 Barratt Avenue and outside No. 4 Barratt Avenue, approximately 4 metres in length, including the ramps;
ii. outside Nos 24/26 and 7/9 Barratt Avenue, approximately 4 metres in length, including the ramps; and
iii. alongside the flank walls of Nos. 57 and 59 Park Avenue and outside No. 27 Barratt Avenue, approximately 4 metres in length, including the ramps;
The speed humps would replace the existing speed cushions at these locations. (b) speed tables:-

i. at its junction with Park Avenue, approximately 9 metres in length, including the ramps; and
ii. at its junction with Station Road, approximately 10 metres in length, including the ramps.

The speed humps and tables would be approximately 75 millimetres in height, with gradients of 1:15 to 1:20 on the ramps and would extend across the full width of the carriageway.

3. A plan showing the locations of the speed humps and speed tables may be inspected for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice during normal office working hours at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online at www.haringey.gov.uk/traffic_orders.

4. Any person desiring to object to the proposed speed humps and tables should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof, or of their representation to the Traffic Management Group, Alexandra House, 5th Floor, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or by email to traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk within 21 days of the date on which this Notice is published.
