BOURNEMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL Throop Road Closure - Sewer Works TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Bournemouth, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic movement.

WHAT: Road closed to all motorised vehicles
WHERE: Throop Road in 3 sections:

1. from Broadway Lane to Taylor Drive
2. from Taylor Drive to Mill Road North
3. from Mill Road North to its junction with the industrial estate entrance road (west of Yeomans Road)

WHY: Utility works - sewer relining by Wessex Water
WHEN: From 10th July 2017 to 4th August 2017 - in 3 stages
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION:
1. Stage 1: Broadway Lane and Taylor Drive
2. Stages 2 & 3: Broadway Lane, Castle Lane West, Woodbury Avenue and Throop Road
