THE M25 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 14 AND TERMINAL 5 SPUR ROADS)
TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT CLOSURES
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the M25 Motorway, in the London Borough of Hillingdon, the Unitary Authority of Slough, and the County of Surrey, under section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order is to authorise the overnight closure of the following -
(a) the slip roads leading to and from both carriageways of the M25 at Junction 14 (A3113 Airport Way);
(b) the link roads leading to and from both carriageways of the M25 at Junction 14 to and from both carriageways of the Terminal 5 Spur Road; and
(c) the westbound carriageway of the Terminal 5 Spur Road leading to the clockwise and anti-clockwise carriageways of the M25 at Junction 14.
These measures are in the interest of road safety while contractors undertake cyclic maintenance and/or urgent repair work. It is expected that the work will last for approximately 1 - 2 nights for each closure at (a) -(e) above every 2 months between 22:00 and 05:30 on Monday - Thursday nights, 23:00 and 06:00 on Friday nights, 22:00 and 06:00 on Saturday nights and 22:30 and 05:30 on Sunday nights. The Order will come into force on 17 July 2017 and have a maximum duration of twelve months. During the closures outlined above, diversion routes will either be via other junctions on the M25 and M4, or via the Terminal 5 Spur and Link Roads, A3113, Southern and Western Perimeter Roads, A3044 and A30. The road closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works periods.
