ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 THE M6 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 34 NORTHBOUND & SOUTHBOUND EXIT SLIP ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 09346363) has made an Order on the M6 Motorway in the City of Lancaster, in the County of Lancashire, to enable grass cutting and general maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The Order will prohibit all traffic from the following sections of the M6 Motorway:
i. the northbound exit slip road at junction 34;
ii. the southbound exit slip road at junction 34. The works are expected to take place over two nights between 2000 hours and 0600 hours starting on Monday 10 July 2017 and ending on Wednesday 12 July 2017. However, work may start and continue between the same times on subsequent nights, or continue until completed. Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the M6 Motorways will be well signed.
The prohibitions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will be indicated by traffic signs and will not apply to emergency services, works, or traffic officer vehicles.
