ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN RICKMANSWORTH AND WATFORD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at anytime on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of A4145 Tolpits Lane, Rickmansworth/A4145 (Tolpits Lane/Hagden Lane/ Vicarage Road), Watford from its junction with the Dwight Road roundabout north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with A4178 Fearnley Street, adistance of approximately 2765 metres. An alternative route will be via A4145 (Tolpits Lane/Moor Lane), A404 (London Road/ Church Street/Riverside Drive), A412 (RecotryRoad/Park Road/Scots Hill/Watford Road/ Rickmansworth Road), A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove/Waterfields Way/Lower High Street), A4125 (EastburyRoad/Hampermill Lane/SandyLane/Watford Road), B469 Green Lane, A4125 (Church Road/High Street) and A404 (Rickmansworth Road/ London Road).

2. that length of A4178 The Hornets, Watford from its junction with A4178 Fearnley Street north eastwards to its junction with A4178 Merton Road, a distance of approximately 54 metres. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

3. that length of A4178 Fearnley Street, Watford from its junction with A4178 The Hornets south eastwards to its junction with A4145 Vicarage Road, adistance of approximately 50 metres.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4. thatlength of A4178 Farraline Road, Watford from its junction with A4145 Vicarage Road south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with A4178 Wiggenhall Road, adistance of approximately 134 metres.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
5. thatlength of A4178 (Wiggenhall Road/Deacons Hill), Watford from its junction with A4178 Merton Road south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with A4125 EastburyRoad, adistance of approximately 1175 metres.

An alternative route will be via A412 (Rickmansworth Road/St Albans Road), A411 (Beechen Grove/Waterfields Way/Lower High Street) and A4125 EastburyRoad.
6. thatlength of A4145 Vicarage Road, Watford from its junction with A4178 Merton Road north eastwards to its junction with A411 Exchange Road, adistance of approximately 215 metres.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
7. thatlength of A4178 (Cassio Road/Merton Road), Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road south eastwards to its junction with A4178 Wiggenhall Road, adistance of approximately 738 metres.

An alternative route will be via A412 (Rickmansworth Road/St Albans Road), A411 (Beechen Grove/Waterfields Way/Lower High Street) and A4125 EastburyRoad. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 July 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING OF BUSHEY MILL LANE, WATFORD)
ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Bushey Mill Lane, Watford from its junction with Southfield Avenue north westwards to its junction with Sandown Road ("the Road"), adistance of approximately 156 metres, except for access.
An alternative route will be via Bushey Mill Lane, Radlett Road, Balmoral Road, A412 St Albans Road and Bushey Mill Lane.
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing telecom masts are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 July 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

CARPENDERS PARK) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of The Courtway, Carpenders Park from its junction with Greenfield Avenue south eastwards to its junction with Penrose Avenue ("the Road"), adistance of approximately 101 metres, except for access.
An alternative route will be via Greenfield Avenue and Penrose Avenue.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near
the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 July 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-
1. thatlength of Ridge Street, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards to its junction with Maude Crescent, adistance of approximately 198 metres.

An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road and Gammons Lane.
2. thatlength of Estcourt Road, Watford from its junction with A411 Beechen Grove north eastwards and northwards to its junction with St Johns Road, adistance of approximately 443 metres.

An alternative northbound route will be via A411 Beechen Grove, Loates Lane, Lord Street, Queens Road The Broadway Queens Road, Woodford Road, ClarendonRoad and St Johns Road
An alternative southbound route will be via St Johns Road, Queens Road, Loates Lane and A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove).
3. thatlength of Earl Street, Watford from its junction with Loates Lane north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4. thatlength of Belgrave Avenue, Watford from its junction with Queens Avenue south westwards to its junction with A4145 Hagden Lane, adistance of approximately 231 metres.

An alternative route will be via Queens Avenue and A4125 Hagden Lane.
5. thatlength of Stratford Road, Watford from its junction with Langley Road north eastwards to its junction with Park Road, adistance of approximately 161 metres.

An alternative route will be via Langley Road and Park Road.
6. thatlength of Gammons Lane, Watford from its junction with Ridge Street north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility maintenance works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 July 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

1. the footpath fronting No.57 Leveret Close, Watford from apoint in line with the north western boundaryofNo.57 Leveret Close south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with the footway situated on the north side of A405 North Orbital Road, adistance of approximately 35 metres.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of Leveret Close, the footway situated on the east side of High Road, the footway situated on the north side of Redheath Close and the footway situated on the north side of A405 North Orbital Road.
2. the footway situated on the north side of A405 North Orbital Road, Watford from its junction with Leveret Close north eastwards for adistance of approximately 40 metres.

There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpath and Footway.

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-
1. to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at anytime on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
a) thatlength of The Glebe, Watford from its junction with All Saints Crescent north westwards for its entire length, except foraccess.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
b) thatlength of Homestead Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with Station Road north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with A412 Park Road, adistance of approximately 150 metres.

An alternative route will be via Station Approach and A412 (RectoryRoad/the EburyRoad/ Uxbridge Road roundabout/RecoryRoad/Park Road/the High Street roundabout/Park Road).
2. the existing one way traffic system on Station Approach, Rickmansworth from its junction with Station Road westwards and north westwards to its junction with A412 Rectory Road, will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel

in both directions within this length of road, whilstworks are in progress.
3. the existing prohibition of driving, except buses Order on Station Approach, Rickmansworth from its junction with Station Road westwards and north westwards to its junction with A412 RectoryRoad, willbe temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to use this length of road, whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 July 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles and pedal cyclists when the works are being carried out.
The Order is needed because excavation and utility connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 July 2017 for aperiod of up to

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because the installation of anew telecoms mast is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 July 2017 for aperiod of up to
18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated
by signs on or near the Road.
