Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U72419 Lower Bartestree Lane, Hereford Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from Church House to Applewood Mill OS Grid Ref: 356714 / 240942. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A438 onto Longworth Lane and vice versa. The said closure is required due to gas main diversion works as necessary for a new property development and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 24th July 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 6 weeks.
