Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U67003 Rhea Lane, Ledbury, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U67003 Rhea Lane 20 meters either side of the Railway Bridge OS Grid Ref: 369461 / 239086. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Hereford Road onto Bromyard road onto Rhea Lane and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the structural inspection of the railway bridge and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 10th July 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
