THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING OF THE CYCLEWAY SITUATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF A5183 ELSTREE WAY, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2017


NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedal cyclists from using the cycleway situated on the north side of A5183 Elstree Way, Borehamwood from its junction with the access road leading to the 'Civic Offices' south westwards for a distance of approximately 29 metres ("the Cycleway"). Pedal Cyclists will need to dismount and use the adjacent footway. The Order is needed because electrical cabling works are proposed to be executed on or near the Cycleway.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 July 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However,the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Cycleway. A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A5135 ROWLEY LANE, BOREHAMWOOD)
ORDER 2017

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of A5135 Rowley Lane, Borehamwood from its junction with A5135 Elstree Waysouth eastwards for a distance of approximately 20 metres ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via A5235 ElstreeWay, ManorWay, Kenilworth Drive, Balmoral Drive and Newark Green.
The Order is needed because the decommissioning and removal of existing telecoms masts are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 July 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However,the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
