ST HELENS BOROUGH COUNCIL
THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST HELENS (VICTORIA TERRACE, RAINHILL) (EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2017) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 6 July 2017, the St Helens Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the effect of which will be as described in the schedule below:-

North side from a point 94 metres east of it's junction with Victoria Street in an easterly then northerly then easterly direction for a distance of 45 metres.
No waiting at any time

Victoria Terrace
South side from a point 103 metres east then 7 metres north of it's junction with Victoria Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 28 metres.
No waiting at any time

The above restrictions will be introduced for an experimental period of up to 18 months. The Council will, in due course, consider whether the provisions of the Experimental Order should continue in force indefinitely. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 13 July 2017, and includes a plan illustrating the effects of the Order, may be inspected at the Environmental Protection and Trading Services Department, Traffic Engineering Section, Wesley House, Corporation Street, St Helens, between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Monday to Friday. Any person wishing to object to the restrictions being continued in force indefinitely must do so in writing to the undersigned, stating the grounds of objection, within a period of 6 months from the date of the Order coming into operation. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Act 1984 or that any requirements of the Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
