Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Pedestrian Crossing - Westwells Road, Corsham and Box
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in exercise of its powers under Section
23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes the installation of a "PUFFIN" (Pedestrian User-Friendly Intelligent) Crossing, a form of traffic signal-controlled crossing in Westwells Road, Corsham and Box at a point approximately 281 metres south east of its roundabout junction with Park Lane. A copy of the plan showing the location of the crossing may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Corsham Library, Springfield Community Campus, Beechfield Road, Corsham between the hours of 9am to 7pm Monday and Friday and 9am to 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday until 24 July 2017. Comments on the proposal together with the reasons for which they are made, should be sent in writing or via the website to reach the Sustainable Transport Group by 24 July 2017 quoting reference LJB/TRO/CORM/HY296.
Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to: Temporarily close to all traffic: A363 St. Margaret's Street (Part), Bradford on
Avon; from its junction with B3109 Frome Road to its junction with Junction Road; and to temporarily suspend the existing One-Way Order on the same length of road to facilitate local access and egress. To enable: Wales and West Utilities to install a new gas supply. Alternative route via B3109 Frome Road - Junction Road and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 27 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Ruskin Avenue, Melksham; from its junction with A3102 Lowbourne to its junction with Pembroke Road; (b) Pembroke Road (Part),
Melksham; from its junction with Ruskin Avenue in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 45m to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction, resurfacing, road markings, adjustment of ironwork and associated works. Alternative route via A3102 - C398 Queensway - Pembroke Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. (c) C157 Ladbrook Lane (Part), Corsham; from its junction with B3353 Linleys for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to install a washout. Alternative route via C157 Ladbrook Road (unaffected length) C150 Lacock Road - B3353 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on

Alternative route via A3098 (unaffected length) - A36 - A350 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 4 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one night between the hours of 22.00 and 06.00. This Order will come into operation on 3 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09.30 and 15.00 until 7 July 2017.
