PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (U61403 Hollybush)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to close that part of U61403 Hollybush from its junction with A438 Hollybush to its junction with U61403 Castlemorton in order to facilitate BT Openreach works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U61403 Castlemorton, U61403 Castlemorton Common, U61403 Castlemorton from B4208, B4208 Castlemorton B4208 Coombe Green, A438 Hollybush and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 26 July 2017.
(Footpath on the eastern side of C2232 Abbey Road, Malvern)(Temporary Closure Order) 2017 Order made: to close thatpartofthe footpath on the eastern side of C2232 Abbey Road, Malvern, from its junction with Wells Road for a distance of 60 metres in anorth easterlydirection in order to facilitate repair works to a retaining wall.
There are exemptions in the Order to permit access to anyland or premises havingafrontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken. Pedestrians:- to use footpath on the opposite side of Abbey Road.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 16 weeks commencing on 6 July 2017.
(B4208 and C2098 Castlemorton and Birtsmorton) (40 mph and 50mph Speed Limit) Order 2017
On 22 June 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to REDUCE the speed limit on the following lengths of road in Castlemorton to 50 miles per hour: B4208 from a point 90 metres north of its junction with UC61403 Gullet Road in a southerly direction to a point 275 metres north of its junction with C2110 Birts StreetCoombe Green/Birtsmorton. C2098 from its junction with B4208 for a distance of 60 metres in a south easterly direction.
There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 6 July 2017.
