(BLETCHINGDON) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order - as a result of the development of land adjacent to the B4027 Station Road and Springwell Hill at Bletchingdon - is to extend the 30mph speed limit on these roads by 60 metres westwards on the B4027 Station Road, and by 192 metres northwards on Springwell Hill, reducing the existing National speed limits (60mph) by the same amount. The current Oxfordshire County Council (Bletchingdon) (Speed Limits) Order 2011 will be revoked/replaced.
B4027 STATION ROAD, BLETCHINGDON: PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING &
TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County
Council under the Highways Act 1980 and Road the Traffic Regulation Act 1984 also proposes to construct the following measures: On the B4027 Station Road:
? A traffic calming build out including a speed cushion* (approx. 2m wide & 75mm high) approximately 130 metres west of its junction with Valentia Close (the existing traffic calming build out and speed cushion approximately 70 metres west of Valentia Close will be removed),

? A pair of speed cushions* (approx. 2m wide & 75mm high) approximately 15 metres west ofValentia Close,

? A zebra crossing approximately 45 metres east of Valentia Close - a build out will be constructed within the layby as part of the crossing works.

*The longitudinal gradient will be no more than 1:8,
and the side gradient will be no more than 1:4. Objections to the proposals and other representations specifyingthe grounds on which theyaremademaybe sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) by no later than 28 July 2017. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice.They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
