PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice of making a Rail Crossing Diversion Order and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Footpath HE-537 (Part), Formerly Footpath 7, in the Parish Of Hagley Rail Crossing Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2017
The above Order, made on 27 April 2017 under Section 119A of the Highways Act 1980 (as amended by the Transport and Works Act 1992) and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The order will modify the definitive map and statement for the areaby:-
Diverting the length and entire width of footpath HE-537 (part), in the Parish of Hagley, commencing at Ordnance Survey grid ref SO 8958 8000. The path
proceeds in a generally south easterly direction, for
21 metres, to Ordnance Survey grid ref SO 8959 7998.
The total distance of footpath to be diverted is 21 metres
To a point commencing at O.S. grid ref SO 8958 8000 with a width of 2 metres where it is adjacent to and crossing the railway. The path proceeds in a generally south-westerly direction, north of the railway line, for a distance of 50 metres, passing the start of the footbridge steps at O.S. grid ref SO 8955 7998 to the railway bridge crossing point at O.S. grid ref SO 8954
7997. The path then crosses the footbridge over the
railway line in a generally south easterly direction for 18 metres to O.S. Grid Ref SO 8955 7996. Then
proceeds in a generally north-easterly direction, between fences south of the railway line, for a
distance of 47 metres, passing the exit of the footbridge steps at O.S. Grid Ref. SO 8956 7996, to the end of the path adjacent to the railway at O.S. grid ref
SO 8959 7998. The total distance of the diverted
footpath is 117 metres.
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been
placed and may be seen free of charge at County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, and at Bromsgrove
District Council Customer Service Centre, Dolphin
House, School Drive, Bromsgrove on Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours. Copies of the
Order and map may be bought at County Hall,
Worcester at the price of £7.50.
Any representations about or objections to the Order
may be sent in writing to the Head of Legal and
Democratic Services, County Hall, Spetchley Road,
Worcester, WR5 2NP quoting the reference MW/4020/113 or e-mail footpaths@worcestershire.
gov uk not later than 3 August 2017 Please state the
grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly
made, or if any so made are withdrawn the
Worcestershire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and
objections which have not been withdrawn will be
sent with the Order.
