Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(C2068 Hockhams Lane, Martley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of C2068 Hockhams Lane, Martley from its junction with B4197 Hillside to its junction with C2241 Ockeridge in order to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4197 Hillside C2243 Horne Lane, C2243 Wichenford C2068 Wichenford and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day (within a 2 week period). Commencing: 30 June 2017.
(U64209 Rectory Lane, Shrawley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of U64209 Rectory Lane, Shrawley from its junction with U64210 Rectory Lane to its junction with U64208 Shrawley in order to facilitate Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permitaccess to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U64208 Shrawley B4196 Shrawley, U64209 Rectory Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days: Commencing:
22 July2017.
(B4206 Henwick Road, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of B4206 Henwick Road, Worcester from its junction with Oldbury Road to its junction with A44 St Johns in order to facilitate Carriagewayresurfacing works.
Exemptions: to permitaccess to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative Routes - Southbound Diversion: U54000 Oldbury Road, U54138 Comer Road, A44 Bromyard Road and A44 Bull Ring. Northbound Diversion: A44 Bull Ring, A44 Tybridge Street, A443 Hylton Road and B4206 Henwick Road. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (within a 3 week period). Commencing: x2017.
(U50218 Melbourne Street, Worcester)(Temporary Closure & Temporary Suspension ofOne WayClosure) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to close that part of U50218 Melbourne Street, Worcester from its junction with U50220 Gregory's Mill Street for a distance of 40 metres in a northerly direction in order to facilitate new domestic gas works.
The Order will temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Melbourne Street and Gregorys Mill Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1983 item 1 of Schedule 2 in relation to Melbourne Street is hereby temporarily amended for the duration ofthe works, to allow resident access. Alternative route - Northbound Diversion only: U50220 Gregory Mill Street, U50221 Bromsgrove Street and U50215 Crown Street.
Maximum duration: 18 months Anticipated duration: 5 days: Commencing:
24 July2017.
(C2208 Post Office Lane, Kempsey)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of C2208 Post Office Lane, Kempsey from its junction with U60030 Ellsdon to its junction with U60002 Roman Road in order to facilitate foul drainage and highway works for new development. Exemptions: to permitaccess to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U60002 Roman Road, U60003 Brookend Lane, A38 Main Road, C2208 Post Office Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration 33 days: Commencing: 26 July 2017.
(City ofWorcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictionsand Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Blakefield Gardens, Worcester]
On 15 June 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibitwaitingat anytime on the following lengths and sides ofroad in Worcester:
Blakefield Gardens (north side) from a point 10 metres south of its junction with
Bromyard Road to its junction with Star Lane; (south side) from its junction with
Graham Road for a distance of10 metres in a northerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil
enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited
waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 6 July 2017.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement ofReasons for making the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
