GREENBANK ROAD, PORTLAND PLACE & LARCHFIELD STREET, DARLINGTON (ROAD CLOSURE), ORDER 2017
Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:
GREENBANK ROAD
From the south side of its junction with Salisbury Terrace southwards to its junction with Woodland Road
An alternative route will be signed via Salisbury Terrace, Corporation Road, Northgate, St Augustine's Way, Bondgateand vice versa
PORTLAND PLACE
Entirely
LARCHFIELD STREET
From Portland Place southwards to its junction with Duke Street
An alternative route will be signed via Duke Street, Stanhope Road North, Woodland Road and vice versa
The Order is necessary to allow road surfacing works.
The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 3rd July 2017, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 3 weeks.
