TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE BOLTON (TOTTINGTON ROAD, BRADSHAW ROAD & LEA GATE, BOLTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES) (NO.59) ORDER 2017
The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, the effect of which, being operative from 22 July 2017, will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from entering, stopping, standing, waiting, loading, unloading or otherwise remaining at rest in the below lengths of highway on the dates specified: Tottington Road, from Lea Gate to Back Longsight North – 22/23/29/30 July. Lea Gate, from Bradshaw Rd to Tottington Rd – 5/6/12/13 August. Bradshaw Road, from The Coppice to Bolton Rd – 19/20/26/27 August. Alternative routes will be signposted. The Order is necessary due to resurfacing works which will last for approximately 6 weeks and will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
