TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTIONS 14(1) AND 16(1) THE BOLTON (CHURCH STREET & WHITEHALL LANE, BLACKROD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITON OF LEFT/RIGHT TURN) (NO.99) ORDER 2017 The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, the effect of which, being operative from 25 July between the hours of 7pm and 10pm, will be to prohibit all traffic travelling on Church Street, from turning right at its junction with Whitehall Lane and will also prohibit traffic travelling on Whitehall Lane to turn left into Church Street. Alternative routes will be signposted. The Order is necessary due to manhole repair works which will last for approximately 1 day and will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
