THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN
(SUNNY BANK ROAD, BLACKBURN) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to allow works to replace a manhole frame and cover to be carried out. The effect of the Order is to close Sunny Bank Road, Blackburn, to all vehicular traffic at its junction with Onchan Road. The Order will come into force on Friday, 30th June 2017, and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed on the same day.
The diversion route for affected traffic will be via, Sunny Bank Road, Park Lee Road, Laxey Road, Manxman Road and Sunny Bank Road, and vice versa.
Access for the emergency services will be maintained.
