Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1125 from The Vauld to the River Lugg, Sutton-St-Nicholas, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1125 from The Vauld to the River Lugg outside Lower Venn for approximately 25 meters OS Grid Ref: 354317 / 249142. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A417 onto the A465 onto Ridgeway Road onto the C1125 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of a new gas connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 3rd July 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
