Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as Highway Authority, intend under its relevant powers, to make the B4224 Eign Road Railway Bridge, Hereford, HEREFORDSHIRE Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the B4224 Eign Road Railway Bridge, Hereford. Grid Ref: from 351991/239424 – 352100/239367 The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via B4224 Hampton Park Road, on to Vineyard Road, then on to Hafod Road, then on to A438 Ledbury Road and vice versa. The said closure is required due to resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 12 July 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 2 nights. Works are due to commence at 18.30 hours until 02.00 hours each night.
