Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1133 From The Old Forge To Panks Bridge, Much Cowarne, Temporary Closure Order to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1133 From The Old Forge To Panks Bridge, Much Cowarne, from PROW MC8 to PROW MC2. Grid Ref: 362952 / 248211 to 361604 / 247618. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A465 onto the B4214 onto the C1133 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to water mains renewal works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 18th of July 2017 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.
