BLEA MOOR COMMON The Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Blea Moor Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. The proposed works, near the Batty Green junction joining the B6479 & B6255, are: (i) Repairing 115m of bunding & kerbing; (ii) Installation of 145m kerbing & bunding; (iii) Creation of 42m pedestrian link; (iv) Installation of two audio posts. The works will be located in the south west corner of the common at the Batty Green junction joining Low Sleight Rd & Gauber Rd. A copy of the application form and accompanying documents can be inspected at Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, Colvend, Grassington, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 5LB during normal office hours until the 24 July, 2017.
