M25 MOTORWAY(JUNCTIONS 17 -21A) TEMPORARYTRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited(a) has made an Order on the M25 Motorway in the County of Hertfordshire, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order is to authorise the weekday overnight closure of:-

a) theclockwise carriageway of the M25 between the exit slip road and the entry slip road at Junction 20 (A41);
b) the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 between the exit slip road and the entry slip road at Junction 20 (A41);
c) the clockwise carriageway of the M25 between the link road connecting to the northbound carriageway of the M1 and the link road connecting from the southbound carriageway of the M1 at Junction 21 (M1 Junction 6A);
d) theroads leading to and from the clockwise carriageway of the M25 at Junction 17 (A405);
e) the roads leading to and from both carriageways of the M25 at Junction 18 (A404);
f) the road leading from the clockwise carriageway of the M25 at Junction 19 (A41);
g) the roads leading to and from both carriageways of the M25 at Junction 20 (A41);
h) the road connecting the clockwise carriageway of the M25 to its merge point with the link road (connecting the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 to the northbound carriageway of the M1) at Junction 21 (M1 Junction 6A); and
i) the road leading to the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 at Junction 21A (A405).

These measures areinthe interests of road safety while contractors undertake Advanced Motorway Indicator (AMI) sign repairs. It is expected that the work will last for approximately 3weeks starting on or after Monday 10th July 2017. The overnight closures will take place between the following times (maximum period); Monday-Thursday 22:00-05:30 Friday 23:00-06:00

The Order will come into force on 8July2017 and have amaximum duration of eighteen months. Traffic affected by the closures will be directed to leave the carriageway and re-join, or diverted via other junctions of the M25 and M1, and using the A41. The diversion in operation will vary according to the closures in force. The temporary closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they areinoperation during the works period.
