Public consultation: Proposal to amalgamate Brightlingsea Infant School and Nursery and Brightlingsea Junior School

Essex County Council has commenced a public consultation on a proposal to amalgamate Brightlingsea Infant School and Nursery and Brightlingsea Junior School, with effect from 1 September 2018. The consultation document may be viewed at the following address: www.essex.gov.uk/schoolconsultations

Parents/ carers and other interested persons are invited to attend a public meeting (no appointment necessary), where officers from Essex County Council will be available to talk about the proposed amalgamation and answer questions. Two sessions will be held on Wednesday, 5 July 2017, at 2pm in the infant school, and at 6:30pm in the junior school, both schools being located on Eastern Road, Brightlingsea, Colchester, Essex, CO7 0HU. Those wishing to attend may come along at whatever time is most convenient to them.
